We had been aware of the existence of the 300 yen bars in Ginza for several years but a lack of both maps and preparation when we were in the area had resulted in several failed attempts to locate the bar and it had become something of a private joke as to whether it was actually possible to find one!
The Tokyo Trick Art Museum is great fun for all the family, it offers visitors the chance to experience the art of stereoscopic paintings and enjoy playing with optical illusions. A camera is an absolute must for a visit and unlike most art museums getting up close and personal with the art is encouraged.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in 2011 and the location is spot on, right in the business district of Shiodome. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Yurikamome line and Oedo line and less than a 10 minute walk above or below ground to Shimbashi station where there is access to the Yamanote line amongst others. If you're really lazy, like we were on several occasions, then you can get the Yurikamome from the hotel (Shiodome station) to Shimbashi, a journey taking approximately 1 minute!
