Daizaifu

Yesterday was the spring equinox in Japan, a national holiday. Because the weather was great, the streets were packed. I took the express train to Daizaifu, where there is a famous shrine and beautiful nature.

Dazaifu (太宰府) is a historical city in Fukuoka Prefecture, known for its famous Dazaifu Tenmangū Shrine, dedicated to the scholar Sugawara no Michizane. He is considered the patron saint of scholars and students, which is why many people pray there, especially before exams.

I also visited the shrine and finally got to use my camera. It was a short trip, a misunderstanding with two classmates arose, and I was there alone. I was only there for two hours, but I made the best of it. Since I filmed, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves today instead of my words. Take a moment if you find one, enjoy the good weather in Japan, the Japanese atmosphere, and the shrine through my lens. Until then!
